Outdoor Living & Night-time Atmosphere

A series of native gardens designed to complement a passive house on a sloping ocean view site. This residential garden transforms a sloped site overlooking the ocean into layered outdoor living spaces — from shaded native fern groves to sunny veggie gardens and informal gathering spots. Designed to celebrate local bushland and maximise connection with nature, the garden includes rainwater collection and sustainable water management. Unbuilt, the project balances passive house principles with a strong sense of place and outdoor lifestyle.
